Draft policy for the CityBridge prototypePrivacy Policy

Preview (demo) mode
When you continue as a Demo User, CityBridge creates a local session in your browser's localStorage. Your connection requests, blocks, reports and filters are kept there and nowhere else. Choosing “Reset demo data” clears them.
Seeded profiles
The people, events and conversations in preview mode are fictional demo content. They are not real members and contain no real personal data.
If you sign in for real
Where real accounts are enabled, CityBridge stores the profile details you enter, including name, photo, city, languages, education, profession, bio, interests and goals, so the app can show them to the people you choose. Visibility and messaging controls in your profile settings decide who can see you.
Your controls
You can edit or clear your profile, turn discoverability off, choose Nearby, Global or both, block members, and sign out at any time.
Changes
This draft will be replaced with a reviewed privacy policy before CityBridge handles real member data at scale.
